Chatham Artists Guild, Beggars & Choosers Blend Art and
Fun
at Side Street Gallery

The Chatham Artists Guild will feature works by artists participating in the 14th annual Chatham Open Studio Tour from September 6 to October 7 at downtown Pittsboro's Side Street Gallery. A broad array of original paintings, sculpture, pottery, fabric, wood, glass and jewelry by over 50 Guild artists and artisans will be available to view and purchase.
The Opening Party will be on Friday September 8th from 7 to 10 PM. at the Side Street Gallery located at 18 East Salisbury Street in Pittsboro. "This is going to be a unique evening of music, food and especially fun," stresses Maggie Zwilling, the Guild's Executive Director. Just around the corner at 38 Hillsboro Street, Beggars and Choosers will reopen its vintage clothing collection after the summer break. "Folks who are going to the Guild Opening Party can select a free costume to wear to the festivities," promises Pam Smith, Beggars and Choosers' proprietor. "We will have a storewide sale of our eclectic selection of antiques and vintage clothing."
Side Street Gallery, http://www.sidestreet-gallery.com , was founded by brother and sister team, Michael and Michele Mosca in 2004. "Our gallery features both local and national emerging artists, and offers art classes and workshops for children and adults," notes Michael, "We particularly enjoy sharing the creativity of Chatham County's leading artists in the Guild with art lovers from all around the region," adds Michele.
